Cinema4D, Greebler, After Effects CS6
May saw the launch of Adobe’s new Creative Suite 6, and Rogue Robot was overjoyed to receive it in the post on the first day of release. It’s an incredible package with some fantastic tools that will allow us to explore new areas and really push the work we can do for clients. We are still working our way through the vast suite, but already have used it on several projects, and we can’t wait to use it on more.
This month we have been producing event and awards graphics for two big name clients that we can’t mention. This has included movie-style titles and an airport departure board listing nominees.
Working for CPM and HP we edited 9 hours of supplied footage down to two training session highlight videos.
LAS Manchester needed a title sequence for a client’s video which had several arrows moving into frame and highlighting text. We built a procedural system within Cinema4D which allowed us to quickly and simply animate the arrows in anyway we needed, including around corners.
We’ve been out on the road this month too, providing camera ops for SteadiFacilities, Sound And Vision, Project Eventus, IAmSolanas, LAS, MCL and Hawk on events such as The Visit England Awards, JD Williams’ annual event and the BusinessDesk Awards.
We also went down to London over the Jubilee weekend for SteadiFacilities to operate jib on the two day ‘Sainsbury’s Family Festival’ in Hyde Park. It was very wet…
We were also very proud to have one of our 3d robot models chosen by Pixellab.net
as a winner in their ‘Build a Robot’ competition. The winning entries can be downloaded here
